Online Masters Degrees: What Do You Think?

Sometimes it is a tough nut to crack when you have to make the decision to finally opt in for an online university to get a masters degree online. Maybe I should start with my own experience, I have never really been a fan of online colleges or learning online, especially if you had to consider that I started my education in a third world country, the option to further my education online in order to get a masters degree and a PhD online was a no-no for me.

However, things have really changed, the world is not what it used to be before. Having completed my first university degree, I made a choice to further my education, however, getting the money for this new mission was somewhat more difficult than I had imagined.

As a matter of fact, a full time education for a masters degree would mean that I would have to completely give a 100% focus… thereby leaving out every other thing about my life, and opting in for another full round of complete education.

But I had a challenge, how exactly would I be able to meet up with my financial obligations if I finally decided to go in for this new educational adventure? Full time studies in the local universities were very expensive, I was not seeing any light at the end of the tunnel, I almost didn’t have an idea on what I should do… then I decided to look once again at the option I had decided I would not consider… that is the option to try an online university for a masters degree.

I have eventually started the program, and as time passes on, I am hoping that I will be able to share my experiences with other persons who are skeptical as I once was. I will also be doing everything I can, to share my experiences also.

As at this moment, I have also realized that I can really do a lot of other things, I can comfortably rely on myself without looking at other persons for financial assistance as I venture into a new world of online learning for a masters degree.

At this moment, I already feel at ease, I can work, and I can learn… the good thing for now is the flexibility, and I hope I will be able to keep up with this new found love of online learning.

Till I put up another post on my adventure… happy summer holidays.
